About us
The Coachman Insurance Company was established in 1979 and sells a full suite of property and casualty insurance products in the Ontario market. It is headquartered in Toronto and employs 29 people.
We offer competitively-priced insurance products exclusively through a network of independent brokers, most of whom are local business people who are customer and community-oriented.
SGI CANADA purchased Coachman in 2001 and through its subsidiaries, like Coachman Insurance, is proud to meet the insurance needs of customers in 7 Canadian provinces. SGI CANADA has been in the insurance business for more than 60 years.

Our broker network
The brokers have contracts with us to market our products and to renew and service existing Coachman insurance policies sold through their brokerages.
The brokerages set their own hours, pay their own expenses and have complete control over their own businesses. Many of these brokers also market other companies' products and services.
