Standard coverage

This coverage protects your home, outbuildings and belongings against loss and damage resulting from the following named perils:

• fire or lightning
• explosion or implosion
• smoke
• falling objects
• impact by aircraft, spacecraft or land vehicles
• riot
• vandalism or malicious acts
• water escape and rupture
• windstorm or hail
• electricity (power surge)
• glass breakage
• theft, including damage caused by attempted theft
• loss or damage to items being transported, caused by an accident to the transporting vehicle
• escape of fuel oil

Broad coverage

Under this coverage, your home and outbuildings will be covered for comprehensive coverage however your belongings will be insured for the above named perils.

Comprehensive coverage

This coverage provides comprehensive protection for loss or damage to your home, outbuildings and your belongings. It provides protection in nearly every instance, with certain exceptions.

Comprehensive “Classic” coverage

This coverage provides comprehensive protection for loss or damage to your home, outbuildings and your belongings.

It also provides coverage extensions and increased amounts of protection for specific types of property, such as jewelry, money and bullion, boats and their equipment and includes a $2 million personal liability limit. Voluntary medical and voluntary property damage payments also have enhanced limits.

Certain requirements must be met to qualify for this coverage.
