Reporting a claim
After an incident, your first step is to contact your insurance broker who will have all the details of your insurance coverage and will record the details of the claim you're filing.
After you ensure everyone is safe, follow these instructions:
- Contact emergency officials if required.
- If other motorists are involved, get their names, along with the jurisdictions and numbers of their driver's licence and licence plates.
- Confirm that the description on the driver’s licence and vehicle registration match the driver and vehicle involved.
- Get the names and contact information of any witnesses who may have seen the collision or incident.
- Contact your broker, who will forward your claim to us. We'll contact you within 4 business hours and provide the name of an adjuster who will look after your claim as quickly as possible.
